This policy explains how Aussi-Nexus Group (ABN 76 947 108 181) handles personal information in Nexus Audiobook, consistent with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

What we do not collect or keep

The books, documents and text you add are processed in temporary server memory only. They are not written to disk or to our database, and are discarded when the session expires. Generated audio is likewise not stored. We do not sell personal information and we do not run advertising or third-party trackers.

On your device

The app stores settings, a recent-books list (titles and positions only), a sign-in token and an app-shell cache in your browser. You can clear these in your browser settings.

Why we use it

To provide the Service: to sync your progress and settings, to protect the Service from abuse, and to keep it running. We use your information only for these purposes.

Sharing

We do not share your information with third parties, except where required by law. If the optional translation feature is enabled, text is sent to a translation server operated by us.

Security and retention

Passwords are hashed, connections are encrypted by HTTPS, and access is limited. No system is perfectly secure. We keep account data until you ask us to delete it.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your information, or make a privacy complaint, by contacting aussienexusgroup@gmail.com. If you are not satisfied with our response you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
